Mr. True's credentials in the telecom engineering, design and support services industry span over 25 years. These experiences along with his entrepreneurial drive resulted in the founding of Truevance Corporation in 1985. Since its inception, he has overseen the development of the company from a locally based operation to a multifaceted nationwide provider of communications network infrastructure solutions.

From the beginning, Jim's vision was to use technology to deliver to his customers, services of extraordinary value. This vision led Truevance to be an early adopter of, and one of the first engineering companies to offer, CAD services to its customer base as the then new technology emerged. Likewise, Jim also strongly believed that growth would come from developing a culture built on strong core values. This emphasis on strong core values with its customer focus and quest for excellence drove an unprecedented attention to quality and quickly catapulted Truevance to the forefront among its peers. With his customers embracing Truevance and its core values, Jim and his team developed a strategy to diversify opportunities within its current and potential customer base. This thinking proved to be extremely beneficial in many ways. First, it provided multiple revenue streams thereby eliminating the impact of revenue fluctuations in individual customers. Second, it added value to the company by developing a broad customer base. Finally, it provided growth opportunities for its employees. As a result of this strategy and Truevance's Core Values, Truevance not only grew rapidly but it developed strong partnerships with some of America's largest corporations.

With this growth came recognition and with recognition came the realization by leaders within the industry that Truevance would be a wise investment. As a result, Truevance was purchased by a group of investors whose goal was to add value by cross-pollinating Truevance's services to other industry specific companies. The key objective of taking the company public was realized in 1995. Through this process, Jim gained immense knowledge and skills in dealing with the banking, venture capital and shareholder communities. Ultimately, Truevance's history of delivering year over year growth and profit resulted in a second acquisition in 1998 by a larger more aggressive holding company.

In 2002, due to series of fortuitous events and some great timing, Jim, along with business partner Mark Lampke, successfully regained control and ownership of Truevance. With this success, Jim has returned Truevance to its entrepreneurial roots giving the company the speed and agility to respond rapidly in a technology market that is ever changing. The wisdom of this move has been evident in the solid growth and profitability generated since that time.

Today, Truevance is perfectly positioned to build off the knowledge gained and relationships created over the company's 20 year history. With the rollout of new technologies such as Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and VoIP fueling demand, the future is truly bright for our company, our customers and our employees.
