
President/CEO
Bill Johnson, President and CEO, joined Truevance in 2011 in conjunction with the launch of TrueNet Communications, Inc, a diversified communications network infrastructure services provider specializing in delivering consulting, engineering, installation and technical services to the broadband, wireless and wireline carrier, energy and utility, and corporate and government markets.
Mr. Johnson was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of QORE Property Sciences, a thirteen-office, 400 employee geotechnical engineering and environmental services company headquartered in Atlanta Georgia. Prior to that, he was Group President with BE&K with responsibility for three separate subsidiary companies including NorthStar Communications, a $120 million twenty-office network infrastructure services company, Allstate Technical Services, a $65 million engineering staffing company, and Tool Specialty, a $15 million industrial tool company. Mr. Johnson, who is a Professional Engineer, also held a variety of engineering, project management and senior management roles with Fluor Daniels including leading several major telecommunications construction and engineering projects. During that period of time, he had joint responsibility for such notable projects as the $250 million City of Chicago E911 project and an AT&T engineering outsourcing project that billed in excess of 1.0 million hours per year. He started his career as an RF systems engineer with Los Angeles Water and Power.
Mr. Johnson received his BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Florida, and holds an Advanced Management Program Certification from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He is a registered professional engineer in California, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky; serves on the University of Florida's engineering advisory board and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE).
